Privacy Policy
Last updated: 31 August 2026. This policy covers every game and app published on onetaprate.app, including their iOS, Android, Windows and macOS builds.
The short version
There are no accounts, no sign-up, no ads, no advertising identifiers and no third-party tracking SDKs. The only thing that ever leaves your device is a leaderboard entry, and only if you choose to type a name.
What is stored on your device
Your best score, your chosen difficulty and your chosen leaderboard name are saved locally on your device so the game remembers them next time. They never leave the device unless you submit a score. Deleting the app deletes them.
What is sent to our server
If — and only if — you set a leaderboard name, then at the end of a run the game sends a single request containing:
- the leaderboard name you typed (a nickname you choose; you are asked not to use your real name)
- your score for that run
- the game and difficulty mode you played
- how many seconds the run lasted (used to reject impossible scores)
- a short random session id that is created when the game starts and is discarded when it closes
The server adds its own timestamp. That is the entire record. If you never set a name, nothing is sent at all, and the game says so on the results screen.
What is never collected
No email address, no phone number, no real name, no contacts, no photos, no location, no health or fitness data, no payment information, no device advertising identifier, no persistent user id, and no tracking cookies. Nothing is shared with advertisers or data brokers, and nothing is used to track you across other apps or websites.
Who can see your leaderboard entry
The name and score you submit are shown publicly on the in-game leaderboard and on this website. Please pick a nickname rather than your real name.
Where the data lives
Leaderboard entries are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database operated by us and served through Cloudflare Workers. As with any internet service, Cloudflare processes the network request itself; we do not store your IP address in the leaderboard table.
Children
These games are suitable for all ages and are not directed at children in particular. Because no personal information is requested, a child using the app does not reveal anything identifying — unless they type a real name into the leaderboard field, which the game explicitly advises against.
Removing your entry
Email privacy@onetaprate.app with the game, the leaderboard name and the approximate score, and the entry will be deleted. Because there are no accounts, that is the only way to identify a row.
